EOL for NetBackup on Solaris on primary and media servers
Veritas announces the EOL (End-of-Life) for NetBackup primary (master) servers and media servers running Solaris on SPARC and x86-64 architecture.
This EOL does not apply to client support on this platform. NetBackup 9.1, which released on June 7, 2021, is the last release supporting NetBackup deployed on Solaris as a primary server or media server. You will need to migrate to a supported version prior to attempting to upgrade to the targeted release or any later releases.
Veritas will support Solaris primary servers and media servers on older versions of NetBackup per our Veritas Product End of Life policy.
