New backup options for cloud workloads
NetBackup 9.1 includes the following new backup options for cloud workload.
- For Google cloud: - Enable the Regional Snapshot option to specify whether the snapshots should be stored in the same region in which the asset exists. You can take low-cost regional snapshots in GCP. These snapshots can be 23% cheaper without any significant loss in resiliency or availability and provides greater control for enterprise users.
- • For Azure and Azure Stack Hub: - Specify a snapshot destination resource group to associate snapshots to a particular peer resource group in the same region in which the asset exists.
