CyberArk CPM Plugin for Enterprise Vault

A CyberArk plugin has been introduced that automates the rotation of Enterprise Vault service-account credentials, helping customers meet Zero Trust policy requirements seamlessly.

Retention at Outlook Folder Level

The Enterprise Vault Outlook add-in now lets users archive entire folders and specify retention policies in a single action, streamlining the archiving process and empowering users to determine retention based on the data’s relevance.

Enhanced Merge1 and Enterprise Vault integration

Merge1 now offers tighter integration with Enterprise Vault. The Merge1 installation binaries are included directly in Enterprise Vault, and customers can configure a dedicated Merge1 node within the Enterprise Vault interface to launch the Merge1 console seamlessly.

The Enterprise Vault Usage Analyzer (EVUA) has been enhanced with improved error handling, better accuracy, and boosted performance—giving customers clearer, more reliable insights into their actual license consumption and ensuring seamless compliance with Arctera’s licensing terms and conditions.

Proliferation

Enterprise Vault now adds full support for Windows Server 2025 and Exchange Server 2019 CU 15, ensuring customers can deploy on the latest Microsoft platforms and stay up to date with all dependent components.

Updated version of Arctera Insight Classification

Enterprise Vault 15.2 comes with an updated version of the Arctera Insight Classification engine 5.1.0, providing new policies, enhancement to existing policies and defect fixes.

Rebranding

The user interface has been updated and rebranded as needed to reflect Arctera branding across the application.

Research Folders

A research folder is a private workspace that allows users to conduct investigations without affecting the main review set. It helps isolate search results, preventing unnecessary additions to the shared review environment. This is particularly useful for confidential investigations, such as audits or insider trading cases. Within a research folder, users can organize and analyze search results, review and mark relevant items, or export them for offline analysis before sharing them with other reviewers. Research folders improve workflow efficiency by ensuring that only validated information is added to the department review set. They serve as an intermediary step in the review process, allowing users to refine findings before committing selected items for broader evaluation. If needed, users can grant controlled access to their research folders, ensuring that only authorized team members can view or modify the content.

Reviewers Assignment

This feature enables an administrator or any user with the Search Capture and Manage Roles permissions to efficiently allocate review items among department reviewers. The configuration supports both department-level and application-level assignments. Review items can be distributed either by percentage or by a fixed number, ensuring a balanced workload among department reviewers while maintaining alignment with organizational review processes. If a reviewer is removed or unavailable, their items remain unassigned unless manually redistributed through the Configuration or Assignment tabs. The system ensures that allocations total exactly 100% and alerts users if adjustments are needed.

Audit Logs

Insight Surveillance supports audit logging of each user's login, logout, and session expiry events to meet regulatory audit requirements. A new permission and advanced search filters have been introduced to enable authorized users to view these audit logs within the Insight Surveillance web client.

Highlighting hotwords in Attachment File Names

Insight Surveillance now supports highlighting hotwords in attachment file names, consistent with how hotwords are highlighted in email and collaboration message previews.

Enhanced reporting

Enables clients to access the Arctera Insight Surveillance data through API endpoints for reporting and analysis, using customized scripts or applications such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and so on.

Base and upgrade installers

Click Base and upgrade installers to view the files associated with this product version. Check the box next to each file that you wish to download, then click Download. The Download button will appear once you check the first file. After you click Download, you may be prompted to select a Veritas Entitlement Management System (VEMS) account. If you are asked to select a VEMS account, select the account that you wish to be the account of record for your download transaction.

To download files in the Base and upgrade installers section:

• You must have a Veritas account. If you do not have a Veritas account, you can create one by clicking Sign in at the top of the page and then clicking Create one.
• Your Veritas account ID (email address) must be registered as a user of a VEMS account that holds an entitlement for the product with an Entitled Version (displayed in VEMS) that is greater than or equal to this product';s'; version.
• Your Veritas account ID must have either the VEMS Administrator or Download Software privilege.
• You must log in with this Veritas account. To log in, click Sign in.

Note: You may not be entitled to download all files listed as some Veritas product offerings entitle different file sets. For example, some product offerings vary by platform (Windows, Linux, Unix, etc.). In these cases you will only be able to download files for the platforms entitled by your VEMS entitlements.

To view which products and versions you are entitled to download, log into VEMS by clicking Licensing on Support home page. Once logged in, click Entitlements at the top of the page. Locate the entitlements for this product and verify that the Entitled Version for at least one entitlement for the product is greater than or equal to the version of the product you want to download. You will not be able to download the product if the version of the product you want to download is greater than the Entitled Version of all of the entitlements for the product.

The Download Center records all download transactions. After you click Download, you may be prompted to select a Veritas Entitlement Management System (VEMS) account. Select the VEMS account you wish to be the account of record for your download transaction.

Updates

Click Updates to view all software updates associated with this version of the product. Click the Update name to view the full details of the update and to download its files. Check the box next to each file that you wish to download, then click Download. The Download button will appear once you check the first file.

To download files in the Updates section:

• You must have a Veritas account. If you do not have a Veritas account, you can create one by clicking Sign in at the top of the page and then clicking Create one.
• You must log in with this Veritas account. To log in, click Sign in.
• Some updates require that you purchased a maintenance contract and that your contract was active at the time the update was release. If so, your Veritas account ID (email address) will need to be a registered user of a Veritas Entitlement Management System (VEMS) account that holds an entitlement for one of the product releases listed in the update's' Applies to the following releases section.
• If you are not a registered user of any VEMS accounts that entitles the download, you will be prompted to enter an Entitlement Code. Enter either a VEMS entitlement ID or appliance serial number. If the Entitlement Code can be matched to a VEMS entitlement that can entitle the download, you will be able to download the update. VEMS entitlement IDs and the appliance serial numbers can be found on on your Veritas Certificate or can be provided by registered VEMS user.

The Download Center records all download transactions. After you click Download, you may be prompted to select a VEMS account. Select the VEMS account you wish to be the account of record for your download transaction.
