About Fibre Transport media server verification
After you have configured an appliance as a Fibre Transport (FT) media server, you can use the following commands to select the status of the feature:
Models 52xx, 5330, 5340 with software versions 4.0 and earlier
Main > Settings > FibreTransport SANClient Show
Model 5350
Main > Settings > FibreTransport Target Show
The command output should show that the FT server is installed and running.
You can also use the Manage > FC Show command to verify and confirm the status of the feature. The command output lets you verify the following:
The target ports are in Target mode by physical state, and their configuration type is Target(FTMS).
In the Status column, the target mode ports should show a status of Online when the port is physically connected to something such as a switch. The Remote Ports column shows any valid peer connections for target mode ports.
