Create a Web Listener

Now you need to create a Web listener if one does not already exist. If it already exists, skip this section.

To create a new Web listener, click New and then click Next:

Enter a name for the Web listener:

Click Next:

Click Next. Leave the default option Require SSL secured connections with clients selected and click Next:

On the next page, specify your external network for the Web listener and click Next:

Click Select Certificate:

Select the appropriate certificate for external access to OWA. In this example a wildcard certificate is used, which is not appropriate for production use. This is why there is only one certificate in the list in the example screen shot above. Click Select.

On the next page, leave the default options selected and click Next:

If you want to use a single sign-on feature, enable it here. In this example, the option Enable SSO for Web sites published with this Web listener is cleared. Click Next:

Review the settings, and click Finish if they are correct:
