Adding Licenses

You can now add licenses for the managed client computers using the below steps

To add a license

  1. Click on Manage Computers and select License Tasks .
  2. Click on the Add button.
  3. Provide the License File details using the Browse button.
  4. Click OK.

The following table describes the license details

Type

Description

Entitlement ID

A unique ID for the license

Category

The license categories are as below

  • Subscription

  • Perpetual

  • Trialware

Type

The license types are as below

  • Server

  • Host Server

  • Device

Name

Name of the license stored in the license file

Meter Count

Maximum permitted license count

This field is Not Applicable (NA) for Trialware license category

Available Count

The count of remaining licenses that can be applied

Start Date

Start Date of the license

End Date

End Date of the license. This field is NA for Trialware and Perpetual license category

Status

The Status of license are as below

  • Not In Use

    License is valid but not used by any client computer yet

  • In Use

    License is valid, and some quota of license meter count is used

  • Limit Reached

    License is valid and full quota of license meter count is used

  • Expired

    License has expired. This license cannot be applied to any client computer. User should procure a new license, add the new procured license in System Recovery Manager, and re-apply this license to all the client computers where license has expired

Status Color code

The colour code for the license status are as below

  • Green

    The license is valid and can be applied on managed client computers if the license available count is not zero

  • Yellow

    The license is valid and can be applied on managed client computers if the license available count is not zero. However, this license is about to expire in 60 days or less

  • Red

    This license is expired and is in invalid state. User should procure a new license, add the new procured license in System Recovery Manager and reapply this license to all the client computers where license has expired
