Backup Exec Simple Capacity - Subscription |
Backup Exec has introduced a new Subscription-based capacity model that allows you to use the product in a way that best suits your environment. The subscription metering is capacity-based, which allows you to protect the total number of front-end terabytes (FETB). The following licenses are introduced:

Backup Exec Restore Only |
The Restore Only license in Backup Exec allows you to restore your backup sets if you do not have a valid license or if your license has expired. If you have a valid backup license, your backups and restores continue to work as expected. For more information, refer to the Backup Exec Licensing Guide. |
