About the NetBackup DirectIO
Beginning with NetBackup 11.1, Cohesity introduces NetBackup DirectIO. This plug-in allows NetBackup to communicate directly with Cohesity Data Protect clusters. The plug-in manages how NetBackup data is sent to the Cohesity Data Protect cluster.
The plug-in is installed on NetBackup hosts that need to communicate directly with DirectIO storage. Cohesity supports this plug-in on Windows and Red Hat x86 platforms. You can install it as an option on any primary, media server, or client systems.
