Support for Outlook on the Enterprise Vault server
Enterprise Vault supports the following versions of Outlook on the Enterprise Vault server:
Outlook 2013 SP1 (32-bit version)
Outlook 2016 (32-bit Windows Installer version, available with the volume license)
The following versions of Outlook are not supported:
Outlook 2013 SP1 (64-bit version)
Outlook 2013 Original Release
Outlook 2016 (64-bit version)
Outlook 2016 (Click-to-Run version)
Note:
Outlook performance counters must be disabled when Outlook 2013 SP1 or 2016 are installed on the Enterprise Vault server. The Enterprise Vault Admin service automatically disables the Outlook performance counters if it detects Outlook 2013 or 2016 on the Enterprise Vault server.
To upgrade to Outlook 2013 SP1 or 2016
- Stop the Enterprise Vault Admin service on the Enterprise Vault server.
- Install Outlook.
- Restart all the Enterprise Vault services.
