RBAC role for the DB2 administrator
The RBAC role named Default DB2 Administrator provides the permissions for a DB2 administrator to view and restore DB2 backups with the command nbdb2adutl. For details on RBAC, see the NetBackup Web UI Administrator's Guide.
Note the following limitations for this role:
This role only provides the ability to list, query, and restore DB2 backup images and to view and manage DB2 jobs. This role cannot manage policies or the protection of DB2 assets.
This role does not provide asset-level or granular permissions on DB2 assets.
To add users to this RBAC role, you must have the RBAC Administrator role or the permissions to add users to roles. Contact your NetBackup administrator for assistance with creating roles and adding users to roles.
For information on the RBAC permissions and default roles, see the NetBackup API documentation at http://sort.veritas.com/.
