Setting the maximum number of Vault jobs
Vault uses the
property as a threshold for queueing jobs.The
property is configured on the NetBackup master server.See the
property in the NetBackup Administrator's Guide, Volume I.To set the maximum number of Vault jobs
- In the NetBackup Administration Console, expand NetBackup Management.
- Expand Host Properties.
- Select Master Server.
- In the right pane, select the master server and then select Actions > Properties.
- Select Global Attributes Properties.
- Specify the maximum number of vault jobs that can be active on the master server.
The greater the maximum number of vault jobs, the more system resources are used.
