After cluster reboot all/shutdown all operation, AD/LDAP domains become unreachable from one or more nodes on a NetBackup Flex Scale cluster on which only media servers are deployed
This issue is seen in a NetBackup Flex Scale cluster on which only media servers are deployed. After cluster reboot all/shutdown all operation, when all the nodes are up and running, alerts related to AD/LDAP domains being unreachable from one or more nodes can be seen. Hence the SSH login to those nodes using AD/LDAP users does not work. Also, if the Appliance GUI is hosted on one of those nodes, login to Appliance GUI/REST APIs does not work with AD/LDAP users. (IA-40062)
Workaround:
Log in to Appliance GUI using one of the local user admin credentials. Go to
. Select .You can also use REST APIs to restore connectivity to the AD/LDAP domains. Authenticate a local user with appliance administrator role and execute the autofix API:
POST /api/appliance/v1.0/management/autofix
