Performing a patch upgrade using GUI

You can download available patches using the GUI.

To download a patch using GUI

  1. Go to Settings > Software management > Software update.
  2. Click Check online for upgrade.
  3. Expand the package details and download the package.

    Download progress is displayed at the top of the page.

  4. Once download is complete, click Start upgrade to start upgrade.
  5. Upgrade package progress information is displayed on top of the page. Expand the task to see sub tasks.

If the upgrade fails for any reason, contact Veritas Support.

If the state of the upgrade operation is SUSPENDED, then you can resume upgrade. Go to Settings > Software management > Software update. Click Resume upgrade.
