About the NetBackup 10.3 Upgrade Guide
The NetBackup 10.3 Upgrade Guide is provided to help assist you plan and accomplish your upgrade to NetBackup 10.3. The NetBackup 10.3 Upgrade Guide provides an upgrade path from NetBackup version 7.7.x and later to NetBackup 10.3. You can obtain the latest version of this guide on the NetBackup Upgrade Portal.
Your NetBackup environment supports mixed versions of NetBackup. Support for multiple versions of NetBackup lets you upgrade one server at a time. This upgrade process minimizes the effect on overall system performance. More information about mixed version support is available.

NetBackup 7.6.x and older are End of Support Life (EOSL). Information about required upgrade steps for EOSL versions of NetBackup are not included in the NetBackup 10.3 Upgrade Guide. For a successful upgrade from an ESOL version of NetBackup directly to 9.1, you must:
