Description

To protect against unauthorized access to the TEMP folder, which can contain sensitive data, Enterprise Vault, and Surveillance and eDiscovery services check access to the folder on startup, and periodically thereafter. If the services find unauthorized access, they write an error to the event log and terminate immediately.

Use SkipTempFolderCheck to disable the TEMP folder security checks made by the Enterprise Vault Admin service, the eDiscovery Manager service, and by the Surveillance client and the eDiscovery client.
