About installing SAP Web Application Server for high availability

In a VCS environment, you can install SAP NetWeaver in the following ways:

SAP instance on shared disk

Install the SAP instance binaries and SYS directory on shared disks

SAP instance on shared disk

Install the SAP instance binaries on local disk and SYS directory on shared disks

When installing SAP NetWeaver, ensure that the login_name, group_name for the sidadm and SAPServiceSID is the same on all the nodes.
