Uninstalling InfoScale using response files
Typically, you can use the response file that the installer generates after you perform InfoScale uninstallation on one system to uninstall InfoScale on other systems.
To perform an automated uninstallation
- Make sure that you meet the prerequisites to uninstall InfoScale.
- Copy the response file to the system where you want to uninstall InfoScale.
- Edit the values of the response file variables as necessary.
- Start the uninstallation from the system to which you copied the response file. For example:
# /opt/VRTS/install/installer -responsefile /tmp/response_file
Where
/tmp/response_fileis the response file's full path name.
