The NetBackup web UI does not validate VMware server entries
Under VMware servers, if you click and enter an invalid name or invalid user name or password for a vCenter server or ESXi server, the invalid server is added. NetBackup does not verify whether it can connect to the server.
As a workaround, select the invalid server and click .
