When AutoCAD files are archived on Windows, NetApp, and Celerra with Enterprise Vault File System Archiving (FSA), by default AutoCAD will perform a mass-recall of all AutoCAD files within a directory. This can occur both within the AutoCAD application, or by browsing a folder from Windows Explorer on machines with AutoCAD installed.

To prevent mass-recall of all AutoCAD files within a directory behavior:

1. Open the Start Menu and identify the location of the AutoCAD application.

2. Right-click the AutoCAD icon.

3. Uncheck Enable/disable digital signature icons.

Note: It may be necessary to check and uncheck this option if patches or updates have been applied to the AutoCAD application.
