Duplicate backup of Sharepoint content database fails with corrupt file error when the original backup used AOFO/VSS.

When duplicating a backup to disk of a Sharepoint Content DB that used AOFO/VSS in the original backup, the duplicate job mail fail with the following error message.

Error Message

Duplicate- SQLV-79-57344-65069 - WARNING: "SharePoint - 80\Content-DB 1
(SQL\WSS_Content)\WSS_Content" is a corrupt file. This file cannot verify.

It seems that when the original backup is done to disk there is something about the backup/catalog that causes a problem during the subsequent set copy job.  The Backup Exec Job Engine debug from the duplicate job shows the following indication:

Error: SetCopyDstMessageHandler encountered an unexpected message: class

Note that this error only occurs if the duplicate is of a backup that was run with AOFO/VSS enabled.

If this issue occurs the original backup job should be changed to turn off the Advanced Open File Option (AOFO).  This will allow successful duplicate backup jobs.
