Release and Support Policy Overview

Our product follows two release tracks - Long Term Support (LTS) and Short Term Support (STS) - each designed to align with different customer requirements.

LTS (Long Term Support) Releases

LTS version provide the complete product lifecycle and are suited for customers who prefer long-term stability.

  • Standard Support: 3 years
  • Extended Support: 1 additional year
  • Sustaining Support: Renewable annually for up to 6 years

This model ensures predictable maintenance, long-term reliability, and continued access to fixes beyond the standard lifecycle.

 

STS (Short Term Support) Releases

STS versions deliver rapid access to new features and innovations. STS versions are intended for customers who want access to the latest features more frequently.

  • Standard Support: a minimum of 6 months (based on when the next minor version releases)
  • No Extended Support: STS release do not qualify for extended support
  • Sustaining Support: This phase will be the maximum of 6 months.
  • End of Life (EOL): An STS release reaches EOL approximately 12 months after GA (6 months primary support + 6 months sustaining).
