Problem

M365 backup completes with an exception "End of stream returned before all stream length was returned!! (Connection Closed)"

Error Message

Job reports the following exception :

Error in SaaS Connector Framework: Resource: Sharepoint-Link, 
Item: Filename.xlsx, 
Parent: Folder name. 

Error code 67113886/1006. A network error occurred during the backup process for the item. Run the next incremental job to back up the 
remaining items. End of stream returned before all stream length was returned!! (ConnectionClosed)
WARNING: "Filename.xlsx" is corrupt. File check not possible.
 

Cause

It was concluded that data is being trimmed in the network layer or there is a complex software (eg: Zscaler) in the middle which may be causing this.
 

Solution

This issue is presently under investigation by our Engineering Team. Depending on the results of this investigation, it may be addressed through a patch or hotfix in current or future software releases. However, this specific issue is not currently scheduled for inclusion in any upcoming release. If this issue has a significant business impact on your continued use of the product, please contact your Sales representative or the Sales team to discuss your concerns.
