Overview of Changes
The Arctera Unified Platform will change our website addresses (URLs) beginning on April 24, 2026 as part of Arctera’s continued separation from Veritas. We will introduce new arctera.com URLs, and existing veritas.com URLs will be supported during a defined transition period to allow customers time to make necessary updates.
Deployment Schedule:
The URL change will be rolled out by region according to the following schedule:
- QAC01, USW02, USW03: Apr 24, 2026
- AEN01, AUE01, AUE02: Apr 28, 2026
- UKS01, EUW01: Apr 29, 2026
- USW01, CAC01: May 1, 2026
Transition Period Details:
From April 24 through June 30, 2026, both the existing veritas.com URLs and the new arctera.com URLs will remain operational. During this transition period, customers may see in-product banners reminding them to update bookmarks, links, and single sign-on configurations to use the new URLs.
Redirects from veritas.com URLs to arctera.com URLs will be in place during the transition period. Veritas.com URLs will be fully retired, and customers will need to access the platform using the new arctera.com URLs.
How should customers prepare for this change? What URLs will change?
Only veritas.com website addresses will change. Journaling endpoints, and any domain ending in archivecloud.net, liveoffice.com, or archivesuite.com will not change at any time. Customers will not have to change any journaling configuration at any time also. Additionally, there will be no required configuration changes to single sign-on (SSO) or Manage-Your-Own-Key (MYOK) as part of this transition.
Both the existing veritas.com URLs and the new arctera.com URLs will point to the same IP addresses. There are no new IP addresses being introduced.
During the transition period (April 24 through June 30, 2026), SSL certificates for websites will be updated to include the new arctera.com domains. The new SSL certificates will contain both veritas.com and arctera.com domains in the Subject Alternative Name (SAN) list. This allows customers to access the websites from either veritas.com or arctera.com URLs.
After the transition period ends on June 30, 2026, the SSL certificates will be updated to only include arctera.com as the old veritas.com domains will no longer be accessible. The Subject Alternative Name (SAN) list of each certificate will only contain arctera.com domains, and the new SSL certificates will be issued with new fields, such as “Organization=Cloud Software Group” instead of “Organization=Veritas Technologies LLC”.
- All customers:
Customers should stop using the old veritas.com URLs and start using the arctera.com URLs. Please reference the table below for the changes.
Single Sign-On (SSO) customers:
No configuration changes are required to single sign-on (SSO) as part of this transition.
Microsoft 365 customers may see a veritas.com URL in the "Sign on URL" field of their SSO configuration in their Microsoft 365 Admin Center. This field is not used in the SSO process, and as such, can be left as-is or removed by the customer.
Customers that restrict outbound access to only allowed websites:
Please update your list of allowed websites to include the new arctera.com URLs listed in the tables below.
Customers that do not update their DNS cache automatically from the Internet:
Please update your DNS cache at least once from the Internet to allow you to retrieve the new arctera.com DNS records
Customers that hardcode an IP address to a website:
Please add the new arctera.com websites and associated DNS records / IPs to your hardcode list.
Customers using Personal Archive (PA) application with either the Outlook Add-In or Web Add-In:
