Workaround:
Tune the Backup Exec registries corresponding to VMware KB.
The steps are as follows:
1. Run regedit to open the Registry Editor and change the following registry settings.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veritas\Backup Exec For Windows\Backup Exec\Engine\VMware Agent
Change the value data of Enable Buffer Writes from 1 to 0.
Change the value data of Write Thread Priority from 0 to 1.
2. Restart the Backup Exec services.
3. Run restore jobs.
