Description
For VCS, a new Java Console is now available that leverages the use of Amazon Corretto over Java SE.
This console can be downloaded and installed using the steps below:
1) Browse to https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/downloads/detail.REL220185#item2 and download the vrtsvcscscm_MSI_802.zip file from the Base and Upgrade installers section
2) Extract the zip file to obtain the vrtsvcscscm.msi installer.
3) Uninstall the previous VCS Java GUI from Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs
4) Delete the Cluster Manager folder from \ProgramFiles(x86)\VERITAS path, if it exists.
5) Ensure Visual C++ Redistributable package (2015-2022) x86 or the latest version of Visual C++ Redistributable package x86 is installed on the server.
6) Install the vrtsvcscscm.msi extracted from Step #2.
NOTE: This VCS Java Console is compatible with InfoScale version 7.4 onward
