How to allow the import of unsigned report templates (RTDs)
 

NetBackup IT Analytics Portal allows the import of only digitally signed report templates by default. To enable the import of an unsigned report template, you must set a Custom Parameter Name to portal.allowUnsignedReportImport and Custom Parameter Value to True from the portal UI.

To enable the import of unsigned report template:

1. Click Admin.
    
2. In the navigation panel on the left, select Advanced > System Configuration and open the Custom Parameters tab.
    
3. Click Add and add the parameter portal.allowUnsignedReportImport and value to True.
    
4. Click Save and then Save and Apply.
    
5. Stop and start the Tomcat Portal service. 
   For Linux:
   Stop and start the tomcat-portal as root:
   # /opt/aptare/bin/tomcat-portal stop
   # /opt/aptare/bin/tomcat-portal status
   # /opt/aptare/bin/tomcat-portal start
   
   For Windows:
   Restart the 'APTARE Portal Tomcat' service from Windows Services (services.msc).
   
   
   Note: Import of unsigned report template (RTD) is now enabled.
