NetBackup 10.2 Installation and Upgrade Documentation Requires Corrections to Native Installer Sections

Problem

Information for native installs and upgrades is incorrect in the NetBackup 10.2 Installation Guide and the NetBackup 10.2 Upgrade Guide.  For upgrades using the native installer, the following error messages are seen because of file conflicts.

Error Message

Examples During Native Installer Upgrade:

file /etc/init.d/pdde-spws.sh from install of VRTSpddea-18.0.0.0-0077.x86_64 conflicts with file from package VRTSpddes-17.0.0.0-0036.x86_64

Cause

Starting NetBackup 10.2, the RedHat Linux primary and media servers require the VRTSpddeu.rpm. In addition to that, the installation sequence for the rpm packages VRTSpddea.rpm and VRTSpddes.rpm is not in the proper order in the original documentation. 

Solution

The following documentation corrections should be followed during a NetBackup 10.2 installation or upgrade.  The documentation changes include the installation of VRTSpddeu.rpm and include the proper installation sequence for VRTSpddes.rpm, VRTSpddeu.rpm and VRTSpddea.rpm.
