Prerequisite Procedure to Re-Authorize OneDrive or SharePoint Online in Data Insight

Description

At some point it may become necessary to re-authorize the OneDrive and/or SharePoint Online data sources in Data Insight to re-establish the connection.

If re-authorization becomes necessary, please follow the prerequisite steps below to ensure minimal problems with the authorization process:

  1. On the Collector node that is assigned to the cloud device, stop the appropriate service (DataInsightSPOnline or DataInsightOneDrive)
  2. Delete the following file(s):
    1. OneDrive: <DATADIR>\DataInsight\data\connectors\onedrive\cookies\dataStore\*
    2. SPOnline:  <DATADIR>\DataInsight\data\connectors\sponline\cookies\dataStore\*
  3. Re-start the appropriate service (DataInsightSPOnline or DataInsightOneDrive)
  4. Now the data source can be edited in the Data Insight console and a new cookie will be generated once the re-authorization is successful.
