01.12.2021 10:58:31 - Info bmrsavecfg (pid=0) done. status: 1: the requested operation was partially successful
bmrsaveconfig -infoonly fails for the client
[root@gf0vsxas024l logs]# /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bmrsavecfg -infoonly
sh: /bin/netstat: No such file or directory
sh: /sbin/ifconfig: No such file or directory
Cause
The common executables netstat and ifconfig were not installed on the Red Hat client.
The BMR option on policy calls bmrsavecfg to run on the client and this is calling for those executables and they are not found.
Solution
The workaround is to install the net-tools package.
Install those executables manually from the operating system.
Then run the backup again and this now completes.
Note: The required Emergency Engineering Binary is installed on the boot server for 9.1.0.1 reference etrack 4055912
