After upgrade to Aptare 10.6 P2 - 10.6 P5, Backup Policy Probe log shows exit status 227

Problem

After upgrade to Aptare 10.6 P2 - 10.6 P5, the bplist command from the Backup Policy Probe can fail with a status 227

Cause

In 10.6 P2 we added an enhancement SC-32884 for “VMWare Intelligent policy is enhanced to display the following details for a client”.  To get the VMWare details we added the command /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bplist to the Backup Policy Probe.  The bplist command can fail with a status 227.

Solution

This is resolved in 10.6 P6
