Description
Before installing the Alta SaaS Protection (ASP) Connector Service, it is recommended to create a dedicated service account in the domain. The Connector Service will run under this account, and will use it to access the file system locations that the archiving policies will get applied to.
Below are the minimum permissions required:
- Standard read permissions.
- 'Write Attributes' permission as shown in the screenshot below. The 'Write Attributes' permission is required because ASP suppresses updating the Last Accessed time.
