Problem
System Recovery Disk (SRD) fails to correctly detect disks in a multipath I/O environment. The SRD recognizes one disk as multiple disks if booting from the SRD on the server that has multipath I/O. As the result, backup jobs or restore jobs may fail.
Cause
System Recovery Disk (SRD) does not support multipath I/O environment.
Solution
Boot from the SRD after removing multipath I/O and connecting as single path.
