Description
Version 10.4 of APTARE™ IT Analytics has been enhanced to get near-real time data from Veritas™ NetBackup. With this enhancement, APTARE™ now has capability to fetch following data from NetBackup in near-real time:
- Storage Unit Details,
- Storage Lifecycle Policies, and
- Backup Policies
This feature is supported for NetBackup versions 8.1.2 onwards and makes use of nb_monitor_util binary (CLI utility to monitor NetBackup events and fetch different information).
The binary nb_monitor_util would be available by default on NetBackup versions above 8.2.
