Backup Exec is a cluster aware application so it uses Windows Cluster APIs extensively to check if a server is part of a cluster. On Windows Server 2019 and above the Cluster API generates Event-81 if the server is not a part of cluster.

Solution

Above event has no impact on Backup Exec and Windows Operations and can be safely ignored.
