v-437-6760

v-437-6469

Cause

This is caused by a problem with the way the expiry process calls the Centera API.

This error appears only in environments where all of the following are true:

  • EV is version 12.3.2/12.4.0
  • The EMC Centera partition is configured to use Collection (multiple savesets stored in each Clip)
  • The EMC Centera partition is configured to set the Centera retention period from the EV Retention Category (i.e., on the partition's Retention tab, an option other than "Never" is selected)
  • Items on the EMC Centera partition are eligible for expiry

Solution

This issue has been addressed in the following release of Enterprise Vault.

Enterprise Vault 12.4.1
