Description
The OpenDedupe OST connector provides integration between Backup Exec and OpenDedupe. It supports the following OST features:
- Write/Backup to OpenDedupe volumes
- Read/Restore from OpenDedupe volumes
OpenDedupe provides an open source file system, SDFS, that includes inline deduplication to local or cloud storage targets.
To configure OpenDedupe volumes, use the Veritas Backup Exec™ Configuration Tool for OpenDedupe. You can download the OpenDedupeConfigUI.exe tool by clicking Download Attachments in this technote.
