Description

Netbackup trylogs are fla- file database files that are managed by bpdbm.

Trylogs store job specific details which are displayed in the NetBackup Activity Monitor.

These trylogs files can be viewed in,
#:/usr/openv/netbackup/db/jobs/trylogs

List View of TryLogs

Trylogs are identified by the same number as the actual job id shown in the Activity Monitor. The following image below shows how the data stored in the trylog matches the Job ID seen on the top left side in the Detailed Status.

In this example the Job ID is 31545:
