Problem
CPU usage is reported incorrectly on Linux hosts running VCS 5.0MP3.

The HostMonitor Agent in VCS 50MP3, uses a value of type "unsigned long long" instead of "unsigned long" for CPU usage counters on Linux.
This causes the agent to report CPU usage incorrectly, as 100% every two hours in /var/log/messages. The actual system CPU usage woule be very low.
Solution
The issue is fixed in VCS 5.0MP3 Rolling Patch 2 or later patches.
