V-275-443 - Event ID 58064: "Please insert media '%s' into the robotic library using the import command" in the Event Viewer Application Log
Error Message
Event ID: 58064
Source: Backup Exec
Type: Information
Description: Event ID 58064: Please insert media '%s' into the robotic library using the import command.
Cause
This informational alert is reported because Backup Exec needs a specific tape to be placed in the robotic library.
Solution
In Backup Exec, run an "import" job on a slot in the robotic library. When prompted to place a tape in the portal, place the tape identified in the alert in the robotic library portal and respond to the alert in Backup Exec. Backup Exec will move the tape from the portal to the slot in the robotic library.
To perform an import operation refer to the Related Documents section.
Note: When restoring a file from a tape that is not currently located in a robotic library slot, it will prompt for an import of the required tape into the robotic library. If the library does not have a bar code reader, then it is necessary to inventory the tape. To create an auto-inventory job that will run after the import job completes, under Settings, click
Options, and then select
Auto-inventory after the import is completed. Once this tape is imported into an available slot and an inventory has been performed, the restore will continue.
