Problem
During processing, documents will be classified as internal or external under specific conditions.
Solution
The conditions that cause documents to be classified as internal are :
- Where the email domain is listed under Processing > Settings > Define Active Directory parameters and specify internal domains > Internal domains.

- Where the message does not have a fully qualified email address showing in the participant's address.
The conditions that cause participants to be classified as external are :
- Where the participant has a fully qualified email address and the domain is not listed under Processing > Settings > Define Active Directory parameters and specify internal domains > Internal domains.
It is not possible to change the classification of a message after processing of the data has been completed.
