As it planned the migration of its mission-critical applications, including core ERP systems, to the public AWS cloud, Swire sought a reliable infrastructure solution that would maximize system availability and guarantee data protection.

Swire chose Veritas InfoScaleTM Enterprise technology to build a high-availability framework for its database applications. The solution enables fully automated workload migration across available zones within 20 minutes (RTO), with an RPO of just a few seconds. Veritas also provided NetBackupTM technology to protect Swire’s ERP application in the cloud, enabling fully logical consistent of data recovery, and archiving for long term retention. The data has been stored in S3 object storage.
