Problem
Unable to archive or retrieve items while events 2190, 3436, and 3419 are being generated. The Enterprise Vault server requires a reboot.Error Message

Cause
By default, Enterprise Vault automatically determines which global catalog server to use. In this instance the journal task binded to an old global catalog server in the forest which is not being replicated to, hence the task was unable to find the Exchange Server object in the directory.Solution
Override automatic lookup of the global catalog server, check Use specific Global Catalog server under domain properties via the Enterprise Vault Administration Console:- Right-Click domain
- Left-Click 'Properties'
- Check 'Use specific Global Catalog server' and enter the required server:
