Release and Support Policy Overview
Our product follows two release tracks - Long Term Support (LTS) and Short Term Support (STS) - each designed to align with different customer requirements.
LTS (Long Term Support) Releases
LTS version provide the complete product lifecycle and are suited for customers who prefer long-term stability.
- Standard Support: 3 years
- Extended Support: 1 additional year
- Sustaining Support: Renewable annually for up to 6 years
This model ensures predictable maintenance, long-term reliability, and continued access to fixes beyond the standard lifecycle.
STS (Short Term Support) Releases
STS versions deliver rapid access to new features and innovations. STS versions are intended for customers who want access to the latest features more frequently.
- Standard Support: a minimum of 6 months (based on when the next minor version releases)
- No Extended or Sustaining Support: STS release do not qualify for extended or sustaining support options
- End of Life (EOL): An STS release reaches EOL when the next minor ("dot") version becomes generally available (GA).
- Example: Version 9.1 becomes EOL when 9.2 is GA. Date is set based on 6 month cadence but will adjust based on 9.2 release date.
