VIOM 8.0.2.540 GUI reporting inconsistent DRL logging state for mirrored volumes on IS 8.0.2.1400 Managed Hosts (MHs) with VRTSsfmh 8.0.2.540 installed. The DRL logging state would flap between 'on' and 'off' for the mirrored volumes. 

Problem

VIOM 8.0.2.540 GUI reporting inconsistent DRL logging state for mirrored volumes on InfoScale 8.0.2.1400 Managed Hosts (MHs) with VRTSsfmh 8.0.2.540 installed. The DRL logging state would flap between 'on' and 'off' for the mirrored volumes. The correct state was reported in the VxVM commandline.

Cause

A fix was required so that the correct status of the DRL Logging was being picked up all the time.
 

Solution

There are no more GA patches planned for VIOM 8.0.2, but a private fix was created for VIOM 8.0.2.540 to fix this issue. The fix for this issue has been included in VIOM 9.0.0.200.
