Enternrise Vault (EV) AuditViewer.exe generates an error message on startup because it cannot connect to the EnterpriseVaultAudit database.

Cause
This issue will occur if Microsoft ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server is not installed on the EV server, or has been upgraded to a later version.
A workaround is to install the v17 of the ODBC driver for SQL Server.
Solution
There are currently no plans to address this issue through a patch or hotfix in the current or previous versions of the software. However, it is scheduled to be resolved in the next major product revision.
