Description
This section lists Enterprise Vault critical events. Many of these events require the administrator to take some action. Some of the events are informational, such as those that indicate that a service has started.

The folder has so many files that the task is taking a long time. No action is required. 2. An eml file is locked by another process and that is blocking the task. Check for locked eml files and stop other processes, if necessary. |

If the number of messages or conversations written to the holding folder has increased, increase the size of the volume on which the holding folder resides. If the SMTP Archiving traffic has increased, try to distribute the traffic more evenly across the available Enterprise Vault SMTP servers. If you are using Skype for Business Archiving, and not SMTP Archiving, there may be a large number of conversations to export, because, for example, archiving has been disabled for a long period of time. Conversations are only purged from the source database once they have been successfully written to the holding folder. The backlog of conversations will clear as space becomes available in the holding folder. |
