Description

Veritas eDiscovery Backline team has designed a tool to make pre-installation, upgrades and basic troubleshooting much easier for the customer and the Technical Support Engineer.

Notice:  This tool is not supported by development and there is no guarantee that any issues found will be added or resolved within this tool.  With that stated, reporting any issue or suggestion is encouraged.


Instructions:

1. Download the Users Manual (Word Document) for future reference and instructions.

2. Right Click on the VTAS_eDP_Diag_9.2.1.txt download file, located at the bottom of this article, and select the 'Save link as'.

3. Change the extension from .TXT to .PS1

4. Create a folder on the server (C:\Tools) and place the .ps1 file into that folder.

5. Navigate to the folder containing the .ps1 script

6. Right click the .ps1 file and select 'Run with PowerShell'
Note: If the Execution Policy information appears, select 'Y' to proceed

7. Select any of the tests you need to perform.
The Exported text file will be placed in the current Clearwell logs folder (ex: D:\CW\Vxx\Logs\)
or will be placed on the root of C or D drive if Clearwell is not installed.

Note: The export location is included at the top of the output in the tool window.
Note: If using the Outlook Settings tool, log into the server as the EsaApplicationService account and again as the PSTRetriever account.
Note:
The P1-P2 Retrieval tool requires additional scripts, please contact Veritas Technical Support, if this additional diagnostics is required
