Description

The account used to connect the Cohesity Alta SaaS Protection (CASP) Connector Service with your CASP cloud archive tenant must have API authorization.

NOTE: To configure the API permission, you will need access to the CASP Admin Portal with authorization to access the ' Administration' app and to ' Manage Permissions'.

Step 1 -- Navigate to Users/Groups

CASP lists all identities in the 'Administration' tab.

To see a complete listing of all identities, navigate to Administration ->  Permissions ->  Users and Groups -> View all users and groups.

Step 2 -- Find the Account Used for the Cohesity Alta SaaS Protection Connector Service

In the 'Users and Groups' tab, click 'Refine search' which will bring up a window on the right-hand side.  Put the name of the user account and click 'Search'.

Step 3 -- Edit the User Permissions

Click on the account, and then on ' Manage Permissions'.

Click the blue checkbox beside the ' API' permission, and click ' OK'.

Now, when you configure the CASP Connector Service with credentials for this account, the service will be authorized to make API calls to your CASP tenant.
