vCloud restores may complete with "The requested operation was partially successful" when VM Discovery is enabled.

Problem

When performing vCloud restore, the restore operation may complete with Status 1 "The requested operation was partially successful" due to vCloud taking ownership of the VM/vCloud before NetBackup can move/rename the VM/vApp.  As a result the VM can be found in a vApp name "Discovered Windows_restore_<bprd_pid>_<ctime>_<GUID>.

Cause

NetBackup does not support the vCloud Director 8.20, 9.0 and 10 feature called "Automatic discovery and import of vCenter VMs."  This causes vCloud to take control of the VM resulting in NetBackup failing to Import the VM to appropriate vApp.

Solution

Disable "Automatic discovery and import of vCenter VMs" in vCloud.
