Problem
IPMultiNICB fails to monitor with error V-16-10001-5001. IPMultiNICB and MultiNICB configuration appear to be setup correctly.Error Message
2009/11/18 08:41:08 VCS NOTICE V-16-10001-5001 (hostname) IPMultiNICB::monitor:Could not read MultiNICB export information. This may be because MultiNICB has not completed monitor yetSolution
Theissue:
IPMultiNICB resources intermittently indicate the following error in/var/VRTSvcs/log/engine_A.log-

Theerror occurs on all nodes of the cluster.
The system(s) do not have high CPUutilization or high memory usage.
The MultiNICB configuration has been verified, permissions have been checked for the export file, and types.cf information verified as detailed in Veritas Technical Support Document # 329250(linked below).
To resolve the issue:
Verify if Sun kernelPatch # 141444-09 is installed by running the following command:
If the above patch is present on the system(s)there is a known issue that may apply to the configuration.
Sun is working toresolve the issue and may provide a temporary patch (patchT142900-02).
Please contact Oracle Support for additional assistance.
